The Pittsburgh Post Gazette published a great story highlighting the importance of undrafted players in the NFL. While every player wants to hear their name called on Draft Day, it's extremely valuable to be able to pick your own team as a priority free agent when the draft ends. Albert Wilson on the Kansas City Chiefs is a perfect example. The Chiefs did not draft any WR's, and their depth was thin. After the NFL Draft, we knew Albert's best opportunity to make the 53 man roster was KC, so we selected them to sign. Albert made the 53!
