On Monday, Sports Illustrated debuted a new site spearheaded by widely respected NFL writer Peter King called The MMQB. The first three days have yet to disappoint. The feature articles have taken a very unique look at the entire culture of the NFL. Case in point is the article below that looks at Shaun Huls the Sports Science Coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. The article explores Mr. Huls extensive background in athletic training, and his implementation of technology that tracks Eagle player heart rate, physical exertion among other performance data. On one side the data collection and ability to track player efficiency is amazing. On the other side, it's a little creepy how NFL players can be tracked like lab mice. You make the call.
